Bio: Allan R. Roth - Vice President-Senior Trust Officer
As Senior Trust Officer and head of the Trust Department of Jones National Bank and Trust Company, Allan is responsible for the ongoing management and leadership of the $90,000,000+ Trust Department, including over $50,000,000 in managed assets in discretionary and non-discretionary accounts. Allan also supervises two Trust Officers and a Trust Assistant/Bond Clerk. Allan has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wayne State College, along with numerous professional development courses and schools, and has been active in banking since 1973.
Allan is 100% committed to maintaining the bank’s reputation for excellence in serving our neighbors in Seward County. Allan ensures the staff keeps up to date on current legal and compliance issues.
Allan is also heavily involved in investment activities. He is responsible for investment management of the bank’s $65,000,000+ bond portfolio and daily funds management. Allan is also primarily responsible for customer investment sales of a wide variety of deposit and non-deposit investment products.
Jones National Bank and Trust Company is a bank with a team philosophy. Officers and staff strengthen each other by bringing their individual expertise together. Allan offers his experience and leadership on the bank’s Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO), and also works with the bank’s Strategic Planning Committee. He is a member of the bank’s Executive Management Committee, and the bank’s Board of Directors.
Married with one child and one (adorable) grand-daughter, Allan enjoys friends, travel (foreign and domestic), golf, fine dining, wine (don’t get me out of my comfortable “white zone”!) spectator sports (college football, basketball and baseball – GO HUSKERS!) and music of all types and genres.
