Primary Job Purpose: Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support. Answer incoming calls in a timely, professional and courteous manner. Provide outstanding, friendly, courteous service to customers in a professional manner, and actively cross-sell bank services.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Direct the incoming calls and customers to the appropriate person.
  • Thorough knowledge of phone system (change settings, answer employee questions, conference room/auditorium audio, etc).
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Process Lock Box deposits.
  • Assist with faxes.
  • Process bank-by-mail.
  • Process weekly loan advances. File daily and mail weekly.

Administrative Assistant Duties:

  • Manage supply ordering process.
  • Perform all daily wire transfer functions including end of day wires.
  • Verify Risk Ratings & validate spreadsheets.
  • Balance bank statements from correspondent banks.
  • Assist with customer correspondence.
  • Process Federal Withholding.
  • Order Fed Cash.
  • Process Verification requests (SSA, SSI, Medicaid Income, Bank Account Verification, etc).
  • Scan and index loan documents and scan and review files.
  • Complete loan check and paid-off loans as needed.
  • Process loan payments.
  • Process Notary applications.
  • Provide assistance for BSA including reviewing reports, maintaining spreadsheets and verifying CTRs.
  • Order foreign currency for customers.

Marketing Assistant Duties:

  • Assist with ordering marketing supplies and maintain marketing supply room.
  • Send emails/gather RSVPs for bank events and activities.
  • Organize/Plan Events (parades, events, big days, etc).
  • Assist with Banking in Schools.
  • Mail cards and correspondence and order flowers for various occasions.
  • Establish and achieve individual goals and departmental goals as they relate to the success of the bank’s Strategic Plan and specific job functions.
  • Participate in the business development efforts of the bank.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience: Banking and/or administrative assistant work is preferred. Must have proficient computer knowledge and skills and be proficient with Microsoft products and standard office equipment, such as a calculator, printer and copy machine.

Hours:  Monday – Friday – 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and rotating Saturdays – 8:00 am – Noon
