Q&A

How does this upgrade benefit me?

This upgrade delivers a better digital experience through an enhanced mobile app and more secure Online Banking. With seamless cross-platform access and improved internal tools for our staff, we can now provide you with faster, more reliable service anytime, anywhere.

Will fees on my account change?

No, the system upgrade will not affect fees.

Will my checks still work?

Your Jones Bank checks will continue to work as usual.

Will my debit card still work?

No, you will receive a new upgraded card and your debit card number will change. Your new debit card will be contactless with tap-to-pay technology and be through MasterCard with advanced features to protect your financial information. Cards will arrive in the mail in the early weeks of April. For security purposes, they will be sent in a plain, unmarked envelope without the bank’s logo or identifying information.

Will I have to change my recurring debit card purchases?

Yes, you will need to update your card information with any businesses that have your card on file.

Will I need to re-enroll in my Online & Mobile Banking account?

You will not need to re-enroll but you will need to set a password. Follow the instructions listed above.

Is my financial information safe?

Yes, your financial security is always our highest priority.

Will you continue to offer Peer-to-Peer (P2P) payment services?

Zelle® will no longer be available. We will transition to a new, equally as convenient, P2P platform SPIN in June 2026. SPIN is a fast, safe, and easy way to send money to your friends and family, right from Jones Bank’s mobile app or Online Banking.

Will my Bill Pay change?

Bill Pay will have a new interface. If you are an active Bill Pay customer, your payees and reoccurring payments will convert.

Will my connection to common third-party financial apps be impacted?

During this transition, your bank account could temporarily disconnect from third-party financial apps, such as Venmo and Robinhood. Plaid, a secure service that connects apps to U.S. bank accounts through a verification process, may experience delays reconnecting to our bank. This will affect how quickly you can relink your financial apps. We recommend manually verifying your account during this transition time.

Will I still receive my statements the same way?

Bank statements will look different, but all the essential information will remain unchanged. We encourage customers to enroll in eStatements, a more secure and eco-friendly choice.

Will my statements continue to arrive at the same time?

Some customer statement cycle dates will change after the upgrade. If your delivery date is different, there’s no need for concern, it’s simply part of the system upgrade.

Will my Jones Bank Alerts stay the same?

Your alerts will not carry over and you will need to re-enroll in alerts for your accounts.
